Week 2 - The Dream Day
It finally rained. I have dreamed of walking through London in the rain for years and years. I love rain. It makes everything feel cleaner. It forces people to be flexible with plans. It accepts messy hair and dripping umbrellas and makes everything just a bit more beautiful.
I also ate quite well today. It actually started with a bacon & egg baguette [not pictured] then a few hours later I had crepes (because why not?).

Olivia and I were incredibly proud of ourselves for getting laundry done. This is something I totally had been taking for granted back in Provo, where my laundry machine is literally two steps out of my bedroom door. It was an adventure, but now we have clean clothes and that is quite exciting.

| Walking through London. In the rain. In my trench coat. With my pink umbrella. And the most amazing hot chocolate. I am a very happy person. |
Restoration comedies are my favorite genre, and tonight we got to see Congreve's The Way of the World. There was lots of subtext, fans, compliments that are actually criticisms, beautiful costumes, and an abundance of wit.
