Week 6 - Hampton Court and Kew Gardens

lol . . . I never published this. So here it is - a little over 2 yrs later. I still think of Kew Gardens often. Also, I went through the trouble (2 yrs ago) of finding the links to all of the art pieces I liked, so it would be a shame for me to not share this.

Hampton Court is famous for its use by Henry VIII.

My favorite part of the palace was its art collection. Below are my favorite paintings:

1. Christ in the Carpenter's Shop  Trophime Bigot
2. Market Scene by Night  Petrus van Schendel
      - read the about, because this is a painting of a woman
4. The Queen Andy Warhol

This was taken on a bench INSIDE of a bush

20 Century Gardens - this is where gardeners learn/experiment. It used to be called the Apprentice Garden.

Love this description

Tree tops

It smelled so so sweet.

Alex started getting into taking selfies. He uses a one second timer.

Bonsai - you can see the wires they use to craft this mini tree.
